SASA SCHEINER
I am especially inspired by the ocean and rock forms. The primordial textures and surfaces of my work emerge from research and play with a range of aggregates and ash glazes. I use light and dark clays to create subtle variations in palette and tone.
Nature’s raw beauty is a constant theme running through my ceramic art. My works are both sculptural and functional bringing art into life.
Today my works are in private collections in South Africa, England and
Australia: Parliament House in Canberra, Brookvale TAFE (Northern Beaches, Sydney) Ceramic Department Collection
